DONT LET YOUR VOTE BE A WASTED VOTE

Don't Waste Your Vote

FACT:

On the 4th June thousands of people will pop out to their local polling station and give their vote to a Major Political PartY IN THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS..

BUT

They will not realise they are wasting their votes.

THIS IS A

STATISTICAL FACT

THIS FACT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PARTY LOYALTY

This can’t be true? Can it? What happens to these votes?

This truth becomes obvious to those who take a second look and begin to understand how the PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION system works.

The method used in the European Election is called Proportional Representation and has been introduced so that the major parties will not dominate the seats.

When a party wins a seat the number of their total votes is divided by the number of seats won plus 1. This usually gives way for another party to win the next seat, and again, the winner will have their total vote divided. And so it goes on until all the seats are filled.

We would need only 9% of the vote to win a seat.

Q: But you are just a small party, do you really have a chance at winning a seat in the European Elections?

A: Yes we do. Read on to find out how.

Example:

There are 8 seats to be won in the London region in the European Election on June 4th 2009.

Based on previous turnouts this is a realistic example of how we can win a seat.

Election Figures

NB: Even if the Conservative Party poll almost four times as many votes as us,
we will still win a seat.

The Moral of this story is simple.

The Christian Party Christian Peoples Alliance are perfectly positioned to win a seat in the upcoming election. In fact, as a smaller party, a vote for the Christian Party Christian Peoples Alliance is the BEST way to stop extreme parties like the BNP gaining seats in the European parliament. On 4th June make sure you PUT YOUR 'X' BY THE CROSS.

Ballot Box

Your ballot paper will look similar to the one pictured above. Please be aware, you are voting for a Party, not an individual candidate. Each Party has a list for the regions they are standing in, and as seats are won the candidates are nominated according to their placement on the list, from number one, then two etc... For Example: If the CPCPA win three seats in the London region, George Hargreaves, Susan May and Paula Warren would occupy those seats.
