CPCPA take on the BNP in European Elections
Why is it so important
to stop the BNP?
ANSWER: Because they are racist.
Here are some examples of the BNP’s racist policies from their local government manifesto:
• The BNP want the provision of any public money to non-British or non-indigenous religious, ethnic or cultural activities to be strictly prohibited.
This would mean no Black majority church or ethnic church, including the Orthodox churches, could bid for or participate in government sponsored social schemes under this BNP policy. This would also mean Church of England, Catholic and other church initiatives, relief agencies,
community groups, cultural events and festivals, etc would be denied vital cash.
• The BNP would not allow National Non-Domestic Rate relief to charities that promote any form of multiculturalism or multi-racism, nor to non-indigenous religious groups.
As soon as next month this measure could impact hundreds of charities and churches - particularly Black, ethnic and Orthodox churches - if the BNP win control of a local council on June 4th.
• It would be BNP central governmental policy to overhaul the Charity Commission and debar from having charitable status any organisation that promotes multiculturalism, multi-racism and foreign religions.
This would mean that possibly all churches and most certainly all Black, ethnic and Orthodox churches and numerous aid organisations would lose their charitable status.
• The BNP totally oppose the recruitment of foreign staff by the health service and local authorities.
The NHS would crumble, and local services would be devastated.
DID YOU KNOW?
Last year The Christian Choice* were beaten at the polls by the BNP
Does that mean there are more supporters of the BNP than Christians?
The choice at the European Elections on 4th June 2009 is simple, “Do we want to see the BNP elected?” or “Do we want to see The Christian Party Christian Peoples Alliance elected?”
“I think we do ignore at our peril the very high risk - which history should have taught us - the very high risk of financial stringency leading to political extremism.” Dr Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury
An outrageous BNP election poster suggests that Jesus would vote for the British National Party. Indeed, the BNP has claimed that they are "the only political party which genuinely supports Britain's Christian heritage." Clearly, neither is the case.
In May 2008 the BNP won a seat on the Greater London Assembly, coming fifth in the ballot and beating the Christian Choice into sixth place. This must not happen again!
Let's defeat the BNP!
The Christian Party Christian Peoples Alliance can defeat the BNP in the polls and also get elected because of the proportional representation voting system, which is designed to give smaller political parties a chance to win European Parliamentary seats.
"Let us stand up and be counted and put our cross by the cross and serve our nation."
*Note: The Christian Choice was the coalition name for the joint campaign of the Christian Party and the Christian Peoples Alliance at the GLA elections in 2008

The surest way to Stop the BNP is to Vote Christian
FACT 1: The E.U. Elections use a Proportional Representation system of voting, which is completely different from the system used in General and Local elections in London.
FACT 2: In London the E.U. Elections will be contested over 8 rounds for 8 available seats.
FACT 3: The BNP (British National Party) can only win a seat in the 8th round of the London E.U. Elections.
FACT 4: By the 8th round all the major parties will have had their votes discounted under the Proportional Representation system rule, which states:
“At the beginning of each round, the total votes cast for a party will be divided by the number of seats already won in previous rounds, plus 1.”
e.g. If the Conservatives gain a total of 600,000 votes and as a result win 3 of the first 7 seats available in London; when the 8th seat is contested the Conservatives’ 600,000 votes will be divided by 4 i.e. 3 (the number of seats won) +1. This will mean that the Conservatives will only have 150,000 votes counted when it contests the 8th seat. Visit www.wastedvote.info for further details.
FACT 5: Voting for Labour, Conservative, Liberal Democrats or Greens is the worst thing you could do if your intention is to stop the BNP winning in London.
FACT 6: Last year under the same Proportional Representation system of voting 80,000 voters wasted their votes (1) voting for Labour, Conservative, Liberal Democrats or Greens
FACT 7: Voting Christian is the surest way to stop the BNP according to the latest figures.(2)
(1). A wasted vote is defined as a vote that did not effect the outcome of the poll. Visit www.wastedvote.info for details.
(2). The joint Christian Party/Christian Peoples Alliance list came 6th in last year’s Greater London Assembly Election.
