Don Heginbotham
With a background experience of working with a major Public House & Restaurant group, Don formed the Donian Leisure Group to search out opportunities for the formation of country clubs, with squash, keep fit, & leisure facilities. He carried out research with the BBC & ITV television companies to identify the best methods of marketing filming squash as a TV sport.
In the 80’s Don worked as Sales & Marketing Director of a financial management company, & was responsible for training & development of regional managers to cover the whole of the UK.
In the mid 1980’s Don was Executive Officer of Mencap, for the Bolton North West area.
1990 he was a member of Homes Foundation, an organisation for the financing, planning & founding of homes for people with learning difficulties.
In 1990 along with other business & professional colleagues Don formed Cornerstone Trust, a charity for a Social Services Private Sector initiative, & in 1992 the first home for adults was established.
Don is currently the Chairman of the Trust, & in early 2009 another home in the North West was established.
During the past 12 years Don has been employed as a Series Producer in Christian television with GOD TV & Genesis TV, & is presently seconded as Media Head with ‘The Christian Party.’
During his present post with the Christian Party, Don & his family are living in Surbiton Greater London, with his home address still in Newcastle in the North East of England.
